MENS BOWLS NEWS 09/06/2025

Good Bowling to our Southies contingent of nine bowlers over the next two weeks competing at the 2025 Australian open on the Gold Coast. With over 4,000 entries contesting in the mix will be Chris Myers, Carol White, Linda O’Reilly, Cath Verdich, Gary Merton, Jeff Myers, Phil O’Reilly, Aaron Kelly and Des Cross. All the Best Team!

Nominations for both the 2025-26 Minor Pairs and the 2025-26 Major Pairs are now open and available to enter on Bowlslink and on our Noticeboard. Entries close June 14.

On Saturday evenings from 6:30pm we are holding our Saturday’s Atomic Shoot Out Challenge. For a $2.00 Entry and bowling with Glow in the Dark Bowls from corner to corner of the green to a 1 metre diameter target you have a chance to win the current Jackpot which stands at $654.00 and growing each week.

Our Presentation Night will be on June 28th the is a list on our noticeboard so “Save the Date” and place your name on the list for what will be a Fun Night!

State Selection Series
Congratulations to Carol White and Chris Myers who have been selected to trial at the Cabramatta Bowling Club on June 23rd to 24th for the Senior Women’s State Squad.

NSW State Championships
Entries are now open for the 2025-2026 Singles and Pairs. You can enter on Bowlslink or entry forms are on the North West Region noticeboard.
